Burlington, MA – February 2008 - Formedix, a leading supplier of standards-based electronic trial solutions for the pharmaceutical industry,
announces the imminent launch of their revamped web site.

"Formedix has gone through a steady growth in
the years since it began operating in the standards arena. With
the number of developments that have taken place, the company has always
aimed to 'move with the times' and as a result, its product and service
offerings have changed to reflect this.
We plan to completely update our web site detailing
our range of OriginTM study design tools which include our
recently launched Define.xml tool, OriginTM Submission Modeller, and
provide use cases from customers who have used OriginTM Study
Modeller to save time and money in study set-up.
Formedix has started to work closely with leading
EDC vendors to integrate the CDISC Operational Data Model with their
software, principally to allow the auto-generation of their systems,
further reducing study build times. Interestingly, although
clients have started to embrace EDC more readily, paper still plays a
significant part in their clinical trials programs. Based on
market demand, Formedix will launch a paper-based plug-in for OriginTM
Study Modeller that will allow the dynamic creation of paper-based CRFs,
cutting down tedious and labor intensive layout work. This
technology also promises to be able to produce submission-ready CRFs for
use in the upcoming FDA ODM pilot.
Furthermore, the company has a thriving consultancy
division which provides planning, preparation and implementation
services entirely focused around CDISC.
One of our highly successful consultancy offerings
is our Study Design and Review Service in which Formedix will take your
protocol and create all of the case report forms (plain and annotated),
dataset definitions, mappings and CDISC ODM and Define.xml files.
Our clients often use this to pass on to EDC or Contract Research
Organizations to specify exactly what they require to be captured,
submitted and all the associated dataflows in between."
